Microscope Colour Camera
This is a small hand held , self Illuminating CMOS colour camera (PAL) with a fixed magnification of 200X . It plugs into the A/V input of any suitable PAL colour monitor or TV via a cable terminated in an RCA plug . The Unit runs off 6 V and draws a maximum of 150 mA from the supplied AC plug pack. It is supplied with both a stand for mounting the camera vertical for viewing or a plastic cone to hold the camera at approximately the correct focal distance against something i.e. skin leaves insects etc... The camera uses three internal white lights to illuminate the object in focus so requires no other form of external illumination and there is facility to manually focus the instrument. This internal illumination can be set to three levels of intensity for optimum viewing . The colour balance of the camera is automatic and thus requires no user adjustment .The pictures it produces on a TV screen are detailed, colour correct and fascinating ! This will make an excellent educational instrument for schools during biology study etc, clinical situations ie dermatology and Beauty Therapy where the client/patient can be shown various skin and hair conditions in detail.
