HELPFUL HINTS:

The CCTV Cameras are suitable for indoor and outdoor use.

Please bear in mind the following points when choosing a mounting position:

· The Camera Motion Sensor should not be more than 20 feet from where motion will occur.

· The lower the Motion Sensor the closer it may need to be to the monitored area. ~ Ideal height for the Motion Sensor is 6 - 8 feet.

Before mounting and installing the cameras, we recommend that you temporarily connect the cameras to the VCA100 so that you may then choose the best camera viewing position,

· Cameras should not be pointed directly into the sun or any bright light, as this may cause damage to the camera.

· Avoid areas where half the area is in bright sunlight and the other half is dark, such as in the shadow of a building. large light variations make it difficult viewing for the camera,

· Unless you are using a night vision camera, avoid low light areas.

~ Avoid mounting the camera close to trees or bushes which, when they move, may cause a false alarm and triggering of the VCR and thus wasting tape!.

· Please note that the VCA100 will power the CCTV cameras. The cameras do not require their own power supply,
