How to tell a "K" series from a "T" Series harness

When you put them side to side there is not a lot of obvious physical difference.  The most obvious single item that stands out is the Rubber PTT Button .  the "K" series is longer unit with quite a tapered  wire end to it  where as the "T" series PTT is a short squat unit and quite rectangular in form . We have had trouble with the "T" series PTT unit and  I have been replacing like units with like units ( how many manufacturers would be this honest about  their products !  we at P.H.S.L are not afraid to say that we have had some problems  BUT we rectify ours !)  so for the moment  if you have a squat PTT its a "T" series  a long but tapered wire end PTT then its a "K" series .

this is "K" series PTT   it is quite long ( too long !)                            the "T" series is more square

There are physical differences with the actual harness its self  these are easily  separated by counting the turns in the curly cord that goes to the helmet , the "T" series has about "37"  turns  and the "K" series has "34" turns
